Heidtman Steel Cleveland Pickling Line Upgrade Complete

TOLEDO, Ohio (Jan. 30, 2012) Heidtman Steel, a leading North American flat rolled carbon steel processing organization, has completed installation of a Bradbury leveler in its Cleveland, Ohio pickling line. Greg Glenn, vice president of Heidtman Steel Products Eastern Region, said the line was installed over the holiday break and is now fully commissioned and accepting orders.

"This upgrade will enable us to provide a superior product to our customers with regard to flatness, shape and surface," Glenn said.  

While the overall capacity of the pickle line is broader, the hydraulic leveler accommodates a minimum thickness of .075" with a maximum of .250" up to 65KSI. It features width capabilities of 24" to 72" and a 5HI configuration to enhance surface quality.
